Welcome

My name is Parker Cornwell. I am a Christian, husband to Jeannette, and father of eight living in Northwest Ohio.

I began writing these essays as letters to my children. By vocation, I work as a licensed funeral director. Regularly seeing the end of life has taught me the importance of leaving behind an inheritance to my children. The most valuable thing I can leave them isn’t money, but the wisdom God has taught me. Writing these thoughts is one way I can do that. While none of my children spend time online yet, I’m leaving a trail of breadcrumbs that will hopefully be useful to them someday, and be useful to you today.

While these letters live online, the goal of anything digital should be to improve the analog. If you gain something from reading, use it to improve the time God has given you. The best compliment I could receive would be to hear that something you’ve read here improved your life and helped you bring glory to God.
